Frequently Asked Questions:
What is Eremos Acres?
Eremos Acres is a quiet property in Lafayette, Indiana that serves as a place to pause from the normal demands of life to purposefully retreat with the Lord. Eremos is a a Greek word used in the gospels of the Bible when Jesus would retreat to a quiet wilderness alone. Jesus would retreat to a quiet place or wilderness to be alone with his Father God. By Jesus's example, we believe in the retreat, withdrawal and purposeful walk into a wilderness to restore unity with God in a busy and productive life.

What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in: 4PM and Check-out: 2PM
The check-in and check-out times are designed to allow optimal rest and retreat. We hope the timing of check-in (4PM) will allow you to arrive on property, wind down (perhaps after a long work day or week) and give ample time before you find your way to sleep. The late check-out (2PM) is intended to encourage a slow morning and time to explore, walk and enjoy the property.
We also hope this time accommodates a mid-week "pause" that would allow you to only take one day off of work to accomplish a restful retreat. The pause is for the sake of your soul-- Why not waste time with God even in the middle of your week? Book today!
